Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the reading order.
- Do I need to read all four Subtract to Ship volumes?
- No. Each volume stands alone. Start with the one that matches your current stage. If you want the full method, read them in order: Validate, Build, Grow, Scale.
- Can I read the Late to the Table books and the Subtract to Ship books in any order?
- Yes. They are separate series with separate themes. Late to the Table is about mastery and magic. Subtract to Ship is about building and shipping products.
- What about Build MDR and Scale eCommerce?
- They are domain extensions of the Subtract to Ship method. Read the core series first if you want the full framework, or jump directly to the extension if your domain is MedTech or eCommerce.
